In December, 2003, Jaye received a call from the managers of a zoological park that wanted to visit the EARS' sanctuary. Jaye complied with the request and set a date for the visit.
The park managers toured EARS, and liked what they saw. A few days later the park officials called again and asked if EARS could give a home to their only tiger. A few days after that, the entire staff of EARS drove to the park - and there we all saw a fine young tiger!
Tienamin was (and still is) beautiful, mild tempered, and majestic. The park had decided, because of insurance costs and liability, that they no longer would allow Tienamin to live there. What a loss for them! Tienamin is easygoing, no trouble, and gets along great with the tigers in the enclosure next to his. He has found a permanent home at EARS, and he will never again be unwanted.
