Tabby's story is not too terribly sad, except that she was simply no longer wanted.

Often people mistakenly think it would be really cool to have a tiger, but soon the uniqueness becomes a less than pleasant situation. If big cats receive a proper diet, they rapidly grow from cute, cuddly kitties, to large unmanageable animals which are capable of inflicting enormous damage. This is indeed the case with Tabby - the only crime she was guilty of was growing.

As it is with the other previously unwanted tigers of EARS, Tabby is now very much wanted and loved too. She is a big, beautiful female tiger who will live out her entire life at the EARS Sanctuary.
