Rajah came to EARS with cataracts in both eyes. He had lost most of his sight. Gail Bowen fell in love with Rajah's charm, grace, and beauty, and could not let him suffer any longer. She felt the urgent need to help Rajah's worsening eyesight. Without hesitation, Gail decided to let the doctor perform corrective surgery on Rajah, and to just pay the high medical costs for his sight and happiness.

Rajah now enjoys the spacious grounds and beautiful waterfalls that he was unable to appreciate before. It has meant a whole, new life for Rajah, and a sense of accomplishment for EARS.
