Karen arrived at EARS with her brother, Tom Quinn. She, too, was malnourished and very ill. Karen suffered two heart attacks while being revived by our veterinarian. She is another EARS miracle.
When Karen first arrived at EARS, she was very shy and timid. Since she has been with us, she has become very loving and playful. Karen loves playing with her big brother in the turn-out.
Karen had overcome many difficulties at a young age. She was only 13 months old when she was rescued by EARS, and was far from looking or acting like a happy or healthy animal.
Only 70 pounds when brought to EARS, Karen has become a stunning example of how love and affection can change an animal's life.
